You will find us just outside Mestre , portrayed by the writer G. Maccaferri D’Este in his novel “The Street of the Heart”. It used to be an ancient suburb with a monastery – our house was a botanical garden.
The verdant countryside, the polling trees, and the few agricultural houses that still scatter along the landscape blend beautifully in a harmonious sensation and calming scent.
In the immediate proximity you will find the Turbine Mill (1680) and Villa Benetton Academia of Iron (1700), where the well known iron sculptur and teacher, Tony Benetton, lived.
The Villa is surrounded by beautiful magnolias and a big cedar. In front there is the Villa Marcello Giustizia (1700) with one of the most beautiful parks in the area, rich of diverse trees and waters diverted by the river Dese.
It is an ideal place to rest, to take long walks, by foot or on horseback, in the open countryside or along the river Dese.
Our guest house is just 15 minutes from Venice city which can be easily reached by car, taxi or by train thanks to the nearby station of Mogliano Veneto. The Villa is also a perfect starting point to visit the whole Veneto region and the famous cities of Treviso, Padova, Verona and Vicenza.
